Electric Resistance Welding (ERW) एक ऐसा welding process है जिसमें दो metal surfaces को pressure और electric current की मदद से आपस में जोड़ा जाता है। इस प्रक्रिया में filler metal की जरूरत नहीं होती और यह process automation के लिए बहुत उपयुक्त मानी जाती है।

3. Butt Welding

Butt welding में दो समान cross-section वाले metal rods या plates को उनके सिरों से जोड़ने के लिए high current और pressure का उपयोग किया जाता है।

• Wire, rod और bar manufacturing में उपयोगी
• Strong और uniform joint प्रदान करता है
• Filler की आवश्यकता नहीं होती
