Microstructure Analysis में कौन-कौन से चरण आते हैं?
Microstructure Analysis एक ऐसी प्रक्रिया है जिसमें धातु या सामग्री के सूक्ष्म संरचना (grain, phase, inclusion आदि) को analyze किया जाता है। इस विश्लेषण के माध्यम से मटेरियल की गुणवत्ता, performance, और failure behavior का पता लगाया जाता है।

1. Sample Preparation
Microstructure देखने के लिए सबसे पहले specimen को तैयार करना होता है। इसमें cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing और etching जैसे steps शामिल होते हैं।
2. Sectioning
सampले को आवश्यक shape और size में काटा जाता है ताकि targeted area observe किया जा सके। Diamond cutter या abrasive cutter का उपयोग किया जाता है।
3. Mounting
छोटे या नाजुक specimens को resin या plastic में embed किया जाता है ताकि उन्हें आसानी से hold और polish किया जा सके।
4. Grinding
Surface को uniform बनाने के लिए silicon carbide paper से grinding की जाती है। यह चरण scratches को हटाने में मदद करता है।
5. Polishing
Polishing से surface mirror finish जैसी बन जाती है ताकि microstructure स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई दे। Alumina या diamond paste का उपयोग होता है।
6. Etching
Etching में एक विशेष chemical solution का उपयोग कर structure को reveal किया जाता है। यह phase boundaries और grains को observable बनाता है।
7. Microscopic Examination
Prepared sample को optical या electron microscope से observe किया जाता है ताकि grains, defects, और phases को analyze किया जा सके।
8. Image Analysis
Captured images को software द्वारा analyze किया जाता है ताकि grain size, distribution, porosity, आदि parameters को quantify किया जा सके।
9. Documentation
सभी observations को record किया जाता है जिसमें images, readings और interpretations शामिल होते हैं।
निष्कर्ष:
Microstructure Analysis से मटेरियल की internal quality और उसकी mechanical properties का अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है। इसके विभिन्न चरणों को सटीकता से पूरा करना महत्वपूर्ण होता है ताकि accurate परिणाम प्राप्त हो सकें।
