Stefan–Boltzmann Law क्या होता है?

Stefan–Boltzmann Law thermal radiation को describe करता है। यह बताता है कि किसी black body द्वारा emit की गई radiant energy उसकी absolute temperature की चौथी घात (power 4) के अनुपात में होती है।

E = σ × T⁴

जहां:

• E = Emissive power (W/m²)
• σ = Stefan–Boltzmann constant = 5.67 × 10⁻⁸ W/m²·K⁴
• T = Absolute temperature (Kelvin)

यह equation सिर्फ perfect black bodies के लिए लागू होती है। Real surfaces के लिए इसे modified किया जाता है:

E = ε × σ × T⁴

जहां ε = emissivity (0 से 1 के बीच)

• Temperature बढ़ने पर radiation exponentially बढ़ती है।
• Black body सबसे ज्यादा energy emit करता है।

यानि यह surface प्रति वर्ग मीटर इतनी radiant energy emit कर रहा है।
