Heat Transfer क्या होता है?

जब दो systems के बीच temperature difference होता है, तो heat एक से दूसरे में transfer होती है। इस heat transfer के तीन मुख्य modes होते हैं – Conduction, Convection और Radiation।

1️⃣ Conduction (चालकता)

जब heat एक solid body के अंदर या दो solids के बीच direct contact से transfer होती है, तो उसे conduction कहते हैं।

Example: गर्म चम्मच को हाथ लगाना, iron rod को heat करना।

Conduction का Fourier Law:

q = -k × A × (dT/dx)
जहां,
q = heat transfer rate (W),
k = thermal conductivity,
A = area,
dT/dx = temperature gradient

2️⃣ Convection (संवहन)

जब heat किसी fluid (liquid या gas) के particles के motion के कारण transfer होती है, तो उसे convection कहते हैं।

Types of Convection:

• Natural Convection: Fluid का motion naturally होता है (जैसे गर्म हवा ऊपर उठना)
• Forced Convection: Fluid को externally move किया जाता है (जैसे fan से हवा का बहाव)

Convection का Newtons Law:

q = h × A × (T_s - T_∞)

h = convective heat transfer coefficient,
T_s = surface temperature,
T_∞ = fluid temperature

3️⃣ Radiation (विकिरण)

जब heat बिना किसी medium के electromagnetic waves के रूप में transfer होती है, उसे radiation कहते हैं।

Example: सूर्य से पृथ्वी तक heat आना, गर्म heater के पास गर्मी महसूस होना।

Radiation का Stefan-Boltzmann Law:

q = σ × ε × A × (T₁⁴ - T₂⁴)

σ = Stefan-Boltzmann constant (5.67×10⁻⁸ W/m²K⁴),
ε = emissivity,
T = absolute temperature (in Kelvin)
